Uchi Mata/Sumi Gaeshi
One of the Uchi Mata is one of the most recognisable throws in Judo. However, it can be difficult to execute in Wrestling / No Gi due to the lack of control on the far side of your opponent. Having said that the Uchi Mata can be used as a fantastic entry to the far leg trip or Semi Gaeshi. Both of these work incredibly well and if your opponent defends one attack they’re opening themselves up for the other.
Let’s look at this sequence now.
